Well, come to find out, the old boy got thrown for a loop and didn't understand what I meant, so I gave it to him straight yestday, with no code thrown in. So since it looked to me like he'd slid into talking code, I answered him back in code. I was plumb sure he recognized me and was asking one of those rhetorical questions. I mean, heck, I'm standing right in front of him and he asked me who I was !.
